Best Fighters Tier List

This Best Fighters list ranks how you should value Coach a Fighter cards during Early Beta. Exact numeric ratings can change when LockLoaded hotfixes balance, so treat tiers as decision frameworks rather than eternal gospel. If a patch lands, re-check Updates and your own match logs.

How we tier fighters

We weigh:

  1. Rarity ceiling — Legend and Real pools beat Random long-term.
  2. Training payoff — cards that justify Cash spent on Power, Dexterity, Endurance, Stamina, and Agility.
  3. League readiness — fighters that can enter matches after ~10 sessions without folding instantly.
  4. Resource efficiency — value relative to Free, Real, and Legend Rerolls.

We do not invent secret hidden stats. When the community lacks a settled name meta, rarity-plus-training remains the honest ranking method.

S tier — chase and commit

Legend fighters you actually train belong here. A Legend with a finished session block becomes your betting ace and league climber. Spend Legend Rerolls from Update1! and Release! with intention, then follow How to get Legend fighters.

S-tier rule: if it is Legend rarity and fully trained, it outranks almost everything else in the current beta economy.

A tier — Real workhorses

Real fighters with complete training blocks sit in A tier. They are the backbone of most gyms before a Legend lands. Prefer training one Real deeply over collecting five half-trained Reals. See Build a roster.

B tier — trained Randoms and unfinished Reals

Random fighters that finished a training cycle can clear early NPC content and teach you betting discipline. Unfinished Reals also live here until their sessions are done — potential without training is not A-tier performance.

C tier — untrained filler

Fresh pulls you have not taken to the bag, treadmill, bench, or pull-up bar yet. Park them, do not bet heavy Cash on them, and do not let them clog your mental load.

Priority after redeeming codes

  1. Claim codes on the Codes hub.
  2. Identify your best current card by rarity.
  3. Run the Training planner checklist.
  4. Enter modest matches via How to win matches.
  5. Reinvest into gym upgrades.
  6. Spend remaining Legend Rerolls only when you can train the result.

Matchup notes without a frozen meta

Because fights are watched rather than manually comboed, your edge is preparation: balanced stats, upgraded stations, and sensible bets. A Power-heavy Legend still wants Endurance and Stamina so later leagues do not expose a glass jaw. Dexterity and Agility matter when opponents look faster on the simulated canvas.

Disclaimer

Early Beta means servers restart, rewards shift, and fighter feel can change overnight. If your personal results disagree with this list after a patch, trust fresh evidence and send us back to the drawing board for the next update pass.

Recording your own tier shifts

Keep a simple log: fighter name, ten-session win rate in NPC and player pools, patch version if known. When LockLoaded ships balance notes on Updates, rerun ten scrimmages before moving personal tiers.

Role-based tier exceptions

An A-tier Power Legend may outperform an S-tier generalist in knockout-focused league weeks if Endurance modifiers favor early finishes. Tier lists default to general league play — specialize backups using Build your roster when bracket rules narrow.

Practical weekly ranking ritual

Every week in Early Beta, write down your three most-used fighters, their rarity, whether their training block is finished, and their last five match results. Promote or demote them inside your personal S/A/B list using evidence. Community tiers guide the first purchase; personal logs guide the next ten. Combine both with Updates after hotfixes.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common Coach a Fighter questions.

Who is the best fighter in Coach a Fighter right now?

Fully trained Legend fighters sit at the top. Exact names can shift with Early Beta balance, so rarity plus training completeness is the reliable answer.

Are Real fighters worth training?

Yes. Trained Reals are A-tier workhorses and often carry gyms before a Legend arrives.

Why is my Legend losing?

Usually incomplete training, under-upgraded gym stations, or risky bets — not the rarity label alone.

How often will this tier list change?

Whenever LockLoaded patches fighter strength, rewards, or match logic. Check after major updates.
